3.3 Cookies

I use „cookies“ to make my website more effective and secure.

A „cookie“ is a small text file that we transfer via my web server to the browser’s cookie file on your device’s hard drive. This enables my website to recognize you as a user when a connection is established between my web server and your browser. Cookies help us to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of my website. The content of the cookies we use is limited to an identification number that no longer allows any personal reference to the user. The main purpose of a cookie is to recognize visitors to the website. A plus point: my website will load faster the next time you visit.

Two types of cookies are used on this website:

Session cookies: These are temporary cookies that remain in the cookie file of your browser until you leave my website and are automatically deleted at the end of your visit.

Persistent cookies: For better user-friendliness, cookies remain stored on your end device and allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

Delete cookies: You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

In addition, I would like to point out that I do not use any external services such as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Vimeo, Google Fonts, Google Maps or Google Analytics! In general, I do not pass on your data to third parties, either inside or outside the European Union.

4. SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from „http://“ to „https://“ and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

5. WordPress Plugins

I use the Page Builder to design the website “Elementor” and for privacy banners, the plug-in “Real Cookie Banner“. When creating them, I made sure that these applications do not pass on any data – neither inside nor outside the European Union. Both of these applications are essential functions of the website and cannot be deactivated.

Elementor: Elementor is software used to create the layout of this website. Click here to learn more about Elementor.

Real Cookie Banner: Real Cookie Banner asks website visitors for consent to set cookies and process personal data. For this purpose, each website visitor is assigned a UUID (pseudonymous identification of the user), which is valid until the cookie expires in order to save the consent. Cookies are used to test whether cookies may be set, to save references to documented consent, to save which services from which service groups the visitor has consented to and, if consent is given according to the Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) is obtained to store consent in TCF partners, purposes, special purposes, functions and characteristics. As part of the disclosure obligation under the GDPR, the consent obtained is fully documented. In addition to the services and service groups to which the visitor has consented and, if consent is obtained according to the TCF standard, which TCF partners, purposes and functions the visitor has consented to, all cookie banner settings at the time of consent and the technical circumstances (e.g. size of the displayed area at the time of consent) and the user interactions (e.g. clicking buttons) that led to the consent. Consent is obtained once per language. Click here to learn more about Real Cookie Banner.

6. What rights do I have?

Because I process your personal data, you generally have the right to:

  • Information about your personal data that I process (Article 15 GDPR);
  • Correction of inaccurate personal data (Article 16 GDPR);
  • Deletion of your personal data (Article 17 GDPR);

  • Portability of your personal data (Art. 20 GDPR)

  • The right not to be subject to an exclusively automated decision (Art. 22 GDPR).

If you have the impression that I are not processing your personal data in accordance with the applicable data protection law, please contact us immediately!
