Institution D.O.L.
INSTITUTION D.O.L. was founded in 1998 by Barbie B., who sees and describes the work and music as Industrial Music, as an ultimate soundtrack for visualising all aspects of life. And this can be very much, from quiet ambient tracks to rolling and rhythmic heavy patterns to harsh sounds.
In the era I (1998-2008) INSTITUTION D.O.L. played live in several european countries like The Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, France, Czech Republic, Denmark & Austria.
In the past Barbie B. also collaborated with bands/projects/artists from like CONTROL, WERTHAM, FUCKHEAD, OPERATION CLEANSWEEP & STAHLWERK 9. It was a real good, productive and successful time but nevertheless in early 2008 Barbie B. quitted all musical activities for 6 long years.
Era II started in early 2014, after ages in total isolation. And it was the person MK Vermin who blowed Barbie B. her cold aspiration of purest negation, contempt and radicality in his face and after this together they reanimated this rotting industrial music project.
TOWER TRANSMISSION IV festival was going to be the first live concert since nearly 7 years and with MK Vermin on stage Barbie B. returned with INSTITUTION D.O.L. in a brilliant shape there. In 2015 MK Vermin left the band and Guy Montag worked with Barbie B. until spring 2016. In Summer same year the charming and highly talented Meta Dolor joined the project and made it to a real band again.
